There is alot to be said for snuggling. It helps you calm down from a stressful day, and reconnect with your partner. Just being next to each other, and touching has healing properties. It’s nice to know that you’re the center of their attention.
My husband and I have had some difficult times in the past year. And in the past week. It has helped to be together after we both get off work, and just snuggle. Sometimes it leads to fun, and other times it just leads to a nap. But what matters is that we’re together.
The connection is important. Too many things get in the way sometimes. Don’t let your schedules or your attention on something else take that away from you.
Sometimes you just have to settle for a long hug, but do whatever it takes to make that connection if you can. And never take someone for granted, because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
