The best part of my day is when my husband comes home from work. We lay on the bed, snuggle and talk. I need that physical closeness, and we need that time to connect.
We’ve been married almost 22 years, and sometimes we take each other for granted. That’s not a good thing. Marriage requires work to survive. It takes an effort from both people.
When I was younger, I didn’t think I’d ever find someone and get married. But I did find him, and I’m grateful for him every day. I’m not a perfect person, and I am far from being a perfect wife. But I am glad that I have him.
So my favorite part is being next to him, just sharing how our days went. It cost nothing but time, and it’s priceless.
